Parallax: the finished pitch.

Done. I’m printing two copies of this as I type. They’ll go in little plastic report covers, one with the Federacracy material first, one with the Union material first.

Sunday morning, I’ll give them to the folks Nickelodeon is sending to SPX. Maybe with a copy of Rita 1/2 to prove that I can tell compelling stories. Maybe just with a couple copies of the Rita fliers full of glowing quotes. And at some point soon I’ll probably send a digital copy of this to my contact at Cartoon Network, as well.

      • Yeah, naming is hard. (One of my favorite programming quotes – “There are only two hard problems in computer science: naming, cache eviction, and off-by-one errors.”)

I think you mentioned not wanting to be obvious about the fact that it’d be combining with the Pants later, but maybe this is subtle enough – one name that popped into my mind is “Armature” – it sounds technical, can abbreviate to “Arm” at a comedically appropriate point, and under one of its definitions (an underlying framework for a sculpture), it could be a basic platform onto which Valerie could bolt a ton of different customizations (based on the needs of the specific mission and/or the personal styles of the pilots).

Also, I just realized that given the speed at which these kind of things usually work, if your pitch gets picked up, it’ll probably start airing right about when my son reaches the lower end of the target audience age range. Now I’m even more excited about this. :D
