The general reaction to the weird-ass photographic cover I experimented with last week was “put down the crack pipe, Peggy”. Albiet much more politely. Im glad I decided to ASK people if “making it look like a novel” was a totally awesome idea or a stupid one; I was really unsure because I’m too close to it sometimes.
So I fooled around with the photo cover and the flier I’d made a little while ago and got this. Once I added the Panopticon, I knew I was done. I might fool around with new drawings specifically for the cover; I dunno.

Oh, so that’s the Panopticon. I’d been wondering.
… oh hey, that stuff’s all over the place. Definitely need to read this again.
I’ve never actually spoken its name in the dialogue of the comic yet, and I may never! It got that name pretty quickly, “those creepy eyes behind the panels” is way unwieldy.
It’ll be a bit more noticeable in the final book, since it’s gonna be gloss on black instead of rich black on flat black like it is here. But it will still not necessarily leap out at you the first time you see it – and that’s good!
I neglected to comment on the novel-style cover, but I found it engaging – I didn’t like that it was a photo in the image, though, because it doesn’t so much reflect the style of the content.
