I have chosen to start my Sunday morning off by getting really stoned and reading through Evernote’s manual.
I have no real use for being able to see my notes sorted by location but it sure is cool to look at the San Jose notes and see that two were taken somewhere in the Convention Center and one was taken sitting out in the little park nearby. Looking at the content of that note reminds me of the context – the con was over, and I was hanging out in the park with a sandwich, basking in the sunlight. Rax happened by and we chatted for a bit – their con was really completely orthogonal to mine, so I hadn’t seen them at all for the whole thing. Among other things she gave me some utterly horrible ideas for the Yiffy Vixen Tarot, which I will certainly be implementing if I ever actually get drunk and finish drawing all its cards.
Thanks to Evernote casually recording the location, I just had a moment of a trivial, forgotten detail conjuring up a memory. I feel so Proustian now.
