1. Oh man I have exactly zero cons in December. VACATION. I get to put the Con Suitcase away and LEAVE it away. I’ll still probably be traveling to visit home but that’s a very different affair from a convention.
2. I’ve taken some Judge Dredd and Nemesis the Warlock collections out of the library. Based on these, I have come to the conclusion that 2000AD is basically all about super-detailed drawings of horrible people committing futuristic ultra-violence upon each other in the future. Nemesis is somewhat more interesting to me because Kevin O’Neill has these weird superpowers of drawing things that should not actually make sense on the page and making them work, and used them in his design of the lead, while Dredd is just some big manly bohunk in AMERICA FUCK YEAH! armor.
