Missed Connections

Missed Connections

This is the end of chapter 13.

This page took a hell of a long time. Mostly because I’ve been busy doing stuff for Rainfurrest. I’m still not quite done with the conbook cover for that.

Also of course there’s Kickstarter fulfillment starting to happen. I probably need to get some friends together for a shipping party soon…

  1. I find the ‘2’ and ‘3’ color schemes confusingly similar. Not quite exactly the same shade, but close enough that I have to look three times.

And the rework needed is small. IMO a dialog change In the second panel bearing the ‘2’ color scheme would suffice.

    • They’re supposed to be close. Though I realized after it was too late to change it that it may be a LOT closer for people who aren’t as aware of color as I am, never mind color-blind folks.

  2. I just started reading these this past weekend and I’m hooked. Reading

I love the mixing of the storylines. Keep up the great work!

  3. Or maybe it’s simply a ‘glitch’ in reality where there’s now two different ‘copies’/versions of one person? After all, you’ve already got a world where more than one copy of someone can be running at the same time.

  4. Margaret, we just got books one and two and they’re breathtaking!
We’re all, “No! Gimme! Me first! Mine!”
Such an inspiration. Up ‘til now there’s only been one book of comic art kept out here all the time – the 1979 Dragon’s Dream Jeffrey Catherine Jones Idyl compilation. Now Rita will join it.

    • Okay I feel pretty honored by that, wow, I mean Idyll is amazingly gorgeous and weird.
Hopefully one of these days I’ll get to have a copy of Pepperpot Piper sitting on my coffee table, too…

    • Yes and no. I’ve got a bunch of books in my apartment, and I’m ALMOST done shipping out all the copies for Kickstarter backers. If all goes well I’ll have those dealt with by the end of this coming week, and deal with online pre-orders who’ve been waiting since last year, as well.

God this has been a terrible year for timely shipping on my part.

  5. Thanks for sending the picture of the boxes of books out in the kickstarter mailing list. The post office had “lost” my box, and only found it after I pulled the picture of the stack of boxes up on my phone to show them shat it looked like.
