Huh. I seem to be dumping a lot of feature requests in Illustrator’s feature request form today. I guess I’m like, you know, I feel like I’m actively funding development by subscribing to the Creative Cloud, and I would like to make my voice heard.
Huh. I seem to be dumping a lot of feature requests in Illustrator’s feature request form today. I guess I’m like, you know, I feel like I’m actively funding development by subscribing to the Creative Cloud, and I would like to make my voice heard.
My primary request would be to make the freakin’ app start up faster! Even after the startup graphic is gone and the app frame appears, there’s still a delay before I can actually start doing stuff.
That’s not a thing I’ve really noticed; I have my system set up to launch Illustrator when I boot it, and I pretty much never quit it.
Though I seem to recall that it launches pretty quickly for me when I have to bring it back up after the occasional crash? I just closed and relaunched it, and I had like a 7s delay between the splash vanishing and being able to open a new document. Which in and of itself felt unusual.
But “launching Illustrator” is mostly just part of “rebooting the machine” for me. Which rarely happens itself.
