Today, I should’ve worked on the page of Rita that didn’t go up today.
Today, I should’ve gone for a walk in the sun.
Today, I should’ve gone to yoga class.
Today, I should’ve eaten.
Today, I should’ve put on some clothes and opened the window.
Today, I should’ve done more than sitting in the big beanbag chair poking at the net.
But I didn’t, and I really don’t feel bad about it. Because I spent the weekend being in a strange place full of people I had to talk to and colorful things to look at, and one day of doing absolutely nothing in a low-stimulus environment is a really, really good idea after that.
Also amusingly enough as I got to the point of writing that last thing I should’ve done, my computer brought up a notification that it would restart to apply the OS update it’d just download. It won’t do that until I tell it to, of course. But I think I’m gonna give it permission to do that, pull on some clothes, and go for a bit of a walk before the sun sets.
