I was working on page 31 and needed to work out some color schemes. I drew out a quick copy of the tone hues of every named character who’s appeared in the first chapter, to ensure that this one character I was drawing for the first time had a distinct tone profile.
When I showed it to Nick, he said “That should be a shirt!”. So I edited it a little. What do you think – would you want to wear something like this? I’d probably clean it up a little bit, but I’d still keep the character art sketchy and sloppy and super-loose… (Click on the thumbnail for a closer view.)

Okay, since the one thing everyone was constantly saying was “this is too small, I have trouble reading it”, I re-rendered everything at 125% of the size it comes out of AI at. Hope this helps! I’ll have to tweak some things in the CSS later. (The colors also shifted a little brighter; I don’t feel like tracing that down just yet.)
